But First A Free Better Blogging Tip
Provocative enough title for ya? There’s a free traffic tip for you right there. Write compelling titles that draw in a reader’s attention. Be controversial.
However
that’s not what this post is about. In this post I will lay out some must have plugins for WordPress.
These pluigins will help your site not only run smoother, but also ensure stellar organic rankings.
All in One SEO Pack
Optimizes your WordPress blog for Search Engines (Search Engine Optimization).
Automatic SEO Links
Forget to put manually your links, just choose a word and a URL and this plugin will replace all matches in the posts of your blog.
CommentLuv
Plugin to show a link to the last post from the commenter’s blog by parsing the feed at their given URL when they leave a comment. Rewards your readers and encourage more comments. This plugin encourages readers to post comments on your site by including a link to their latest blog post in their submitted comment.
Google XML Sitemaps
This plugin will generate a special XML sitemap which will help search engines like Google, Yahoo, Bing and Ask.com to better index your blog.
Search Meter
Keeps track of what your visitors are searching for. After you have activated this plugin, you can check the Search Meter section in the Dashboard to see what your visitors are searching for on your blog.
SEO Friendly Images
Automatically adds alt and title attributes to all your images. Improves traffic from search results and makes them W3C/xHTML valid as well. Combined with the fact that it uses your posts title tag this help to make your site for relevant and keyword rich.
SEO Slugs
Removes common words like ‘a’, ‘the’, ‘in’ from post slugs to improve SEO.
SexyBookmarks
SexyBookmarks adds a (X)HTML compliant list of social bookmarking icons to each of your posts. This adds slick looking social networking buttons to your blog posts offering an easy way for visitors to submit links to their favorite social networks.
To Sum It Up
These plugins aren’t by any means the only SEO plugins you should consider out there, but they are a very good list that will produce results. If you have any to share that aren’t listed here please leave a comment and let me know. I’m always on the look out for new marketing plugins.

Great minds think alike! I’m relieved that I’m not going to hell because my WordPress blog is using all of these plugins. Here’s one more recommendation for your list: SEO Smart Links. This plugin simplifies linking between blog posts by allowing you to set up hyperlinks based upon keywords. When a new post is added, links are generated automatically based upon the keywords you’ve chosen.
