I was using Tweetdeck to manage my social networks, but I recently set up my account at Hootsuite and am really liking it. It has more social networks integrated into it than Tweetdeck does. Not only does it have support for Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin, and Ping.fm it also includes WordPress, Four Square, Myspace and even a custom rss feed option.
All your accounts once configured show up at the top of the client with that corresponding site’s avatar. To post across multiple accounts you simply click on the avatar for the site you want to submit to and bam. There’s a built url shrinker which is great. Hootsuite uses their own http://ow.ly links as a shortener. I’m more of a fan of the bit.ly links, but I can let that slide. Over all I think that Tweetdeck is a slicker looking product, but doesn’t yet have nearly the features that Hootsuite does.
Facebook and Twitter Side By Side
Statistic Tracking
This is a really cool feature. You can see how many clicks per day each of your Twitter account gets and where geographically they are coming from.
